Important: Protect Your Concrete During Winter
Do not use de-icing salts or conventional ice-removal products on concrete. If additional traction is needed, use calcium magnesium acetate (CMA) or sand. Damage caused by de-icing products is not covered by the limited warranty.

Warranty coverage is subject to proper use, routine care, and the owner responsibilities outlined below.

Owner Responsibilities

Proper care after installation plays an important role in the long-term performance of concrete and masonry. To maintain limited warranty coverage, property owners are responsible for following the applicable care and maintenance requirements provided for their project.

01

Follow Initial Care Instructions

Follow all post-installation instructions provided by Migala Masonry & Design, including any required curing or rehydration steps and the recommended timeframe before walking, driving, or placing loads on the finished surface.

02

Protect the Surface During Winter

Do not use de-icing salts or conventional ice-removal products on concrete. Use calcium magnesium acetate (CMA) or sand when additional traction is needed, and avoid metal blades or equipment that could scratch or damage the surface.

03

Maintain Drainage & Surrounding Grades

Maintain proper yard drainage and surrounding grades so water does not collect around the installation. Changes to landscaping, grading, or drainage should not redirect excessive water toward the finished surface.

04

Complete Recommended Maintenance

Follow the maintenance schedule recommended for your specific installation, including sealing when applicable. Routine care helps protect the surface, preserve its appearance, and support long-term performance.

Failure to follow applicable care and maintenance requirements may void limited warranty coverage.
